The first two minutes of this record are very promising with a unique blend of electronic synths with progressive-rock guitar riffs and cymbal crashes. Sadly, the longer one listens it becomes clear that this is, in fact, the biggest drawback.

By attempting to blend two divergently different genres of music together the album lacks a clear focus and direction and becomes clunky and chaotic.

At times the record has its high points, particularly when focused on prog-rock with impressive vocals throughout. Hopefully the impending follow-up steers more in this direction.
