Alison Wonderland – Run (Gradz x Jopln Remix)

Often the biggest criticism fired at YourShot and its entrants is a lack of passion and dedication to music, but two young Sydney producers have recently teamed up to smash those stereotypes.

Gradz and Jopln first met in 2014 when they were both entrants in the Yourshot competition and have since gone on to form a friendship. In the roughly year since both guys have been making the rounds of the Sydney music scene and developing their own individual fan bases.

They’ve now decided to come together and combine their forces for a remix of Alison Wonderland’s hit single Run. Stripping the single back to its core elements the pair have been able to add their own little spice and flair. By emphasising the bass component and adding a few dashes of the chilled out trap vibe, that has been an influence on both musically, they’ve created a killer new dance floor filler that can still be played at home.

Gradz and Jopln are jumping onto the early groundswell of this new Australian sound and are certainly two to keep an eye on as it continues to grow.
