Cat Thompson – Walk Away

As I matured I was able to ‘Walk Away’ from pop music, that was until Cat Thompson got her hooks into me with her new single.

This single immediately had me flashing back to my early teen years with it’s R&B and hip-hop influenced pop sound. Lyrically, the single is rather simplistic, but when combined with a very well produced hip-hop beat, it is extremely easy to get caught in the groove of the song––it works very well.

Walk Away is certainly built to dance to, and could very well be a radio darling with more exposure.
