Mirrors - Fools Paradise

Throughout the near 25 minute offering Gippsland’s metal core outfit Mirrors tell compelling stories within their lyrical composition, however the instrumentation isn’t quite as captivating as it slowly falls back on the generic and thus becomes repetitive.

The entire EP touches upon the theme of finding your own self worth and those people around you that foster that feeling within. The opening two tracks are perhaps Fools Paradise’s strongest tracks, with a perfect balance of aggressive screams and clean vocals.

The EP has moments where the listener will want to shout or sing-a-long, in particular with the impressive clean vocal sections. Opening track FYA is the best example of this.
