Since emerging from the tranquil surrounds of Byron Bay metal band Parkway Drive have not stopped making a loud ruckus all around the world. Last year the band completed the biggest achievement of their 15-year career when they headlined the Wacken Open Air music festival in Germany.

To ensure the historic moment lived on forever the band had a documentary film crew follow them throughout their 2019 festival tour season as they approached the Waken performance. During the near 200 day adventure Viva The Underdogs gives viewers a rare behind the scenes look into the life of a touring band. In particular, we see the pressure each member of the band places on themselves and the performances as they look to up the ante with stadium shows and strive for perfection.

Viva The Underdogs is an incredible film with high-production level, rare emotional glimpses into Parkway Drive, and some truly breath-taking concert footage. A must watch for Parkway Drive fans but also highly recommended for music fans of any persuasion.
