Josh Pyke - Rome

In a year where everything is unusual and the world appears to be in upheaval it's nice to have something familiar and cosy. Josh Pyke delivers just that with his latest record, Rome

Rome is Pyke's sixth album and his first new release in over five years. Despite this lengthy break away from the spotlight Pyke returns with an indie-folk release which will immediately sound familiar and comforting to longtime fans.

Throughout the 11 tracks Pyke delivers his signature moody melodies and harmonies whilst also injecting detailed storytelling within the lyricism.

When we're all so desperately in need for comfort this may just be the perfect album for 2020, just don't go in expecting anything earth shattering or new.
