Ben Edgar - We're Still Young

Sydney-based singer-songwriter Ben Edgar's latest folk-pop EP, We're Still Young, is short but oh so sweet.

Across 5 tracks Edgar's debut EP packs in serious depth, both in terms of musicianship & storytelling. As a guitarist, Edgar uses every single part of the instrument to create his music. Whether it's the notes he strums on the string of his guitar or the percussive elements he creates on the side & face of the instrument every noise is deliberate & expertly placed within the songs.

From a song writing perspective, Edgar takes listeners on a journey of self-reflection, contemplating themes of meaning and mortality. We're Still Young is an incredibly introspective EP but somehow is also a collection of songs that will connect with a wide variety of listeners. Listeners of this EP will be able to latch onto something within these songs that relates to their own lives, whether that be a romantic connection, family values or a difficult decision they are contemplating in their professional life.
