Chai Chang - New Reality
Life in modern society is vastly overstimulating, to the point that many people choose to escape into a New Reality in a virtual space. For Chinese-Australian singer Chai Chang, the escapism inspired his debut single, New Reality.
New Reality is an electro-pop track that harkens back to Western 90s dance hits. Chai's upbringing in Hong Kong also clearly comes through in the song with it brimming with K-pop influence, particularly in the chorus. During the chorus horns take prominence in the music while Chai delivers incredibly catchy & relatable lyrics.
