Justin Stewart Cotta - Melodies For Eulogies

Justin Stewart Cotta is one of those truely layered artists.

A singer songwriter, pianist and guitarist, Cotta was a founding member of Memento and was the Guitarist & keyboardist for VAST. Throughout his career Cotta has toured Europe & the US with Queens Of The Stone Age, Marilyn Manson and Ozzy Osbourne among many others. 

Across the music on his new 9 track album, Melodies For Eulogies, Cotta dishes out elements from throughout his vast musical career. During the listeners journey with this record they will hear glimpses of rock, folk, and punk but this time with the storytelling prowess & emotion of a matured artist.

Overall it's safe to say that Melodies For Eulogies leans more towards the singer-writer side with cotta barring his soul & emotions throughout. By interweaving acoustic guitar, piano, & other melodic instruments Cotta creates a record which has serious emotional gravitas & weight behind it's delivery.

Certainly one to give a spin if you enjoy great Aussie music.
