Pirra - Spirals

Wollongong indie-pop group Pirra are back again with a new album, Spirals. Five years in the making this new album once again sees the group trying new & creative things with their sound.

As the album artwork suggests Spirals explores a much more spacey, ethereal, synth vibe across its 12 tracks. Although this album is much more ethereal than their previous releases Spirals remains unmistakable a Pirra record thanks to Jess Beck's vocals & the dancy nature of the music. Listening to this record you will assuredly find yourself bopping away or tapping your foot as your heart tells every part of your soul it needs to get up & dance.

In classic Pirra fashion each track is distinct from those around them. Across the 12 tracks you'll hear songs which are more energetic dance numbers right through to the aforementioned ethereal grooves & back to grand festival anthems.
