Cassandro Review

This week on The Commentary Booth Jamie is joined by Corrina Mabey to slide into the ring to take a look inside the world of Lucha Libre with the wrestling biopic about Cassandro, a wrestler who made his name in Mexico & reshaped what it means to be an exotico.

Based on the true story of Saúl Armendáriz, a gay amateur wrestler from El Paso who rises to international stardom after he creates the character Cassandro, the “Liberace of Lucha Libre.”

Cassandro will be streaming on Prime Video from September 22.
