Echo Review (SPOILERS)

This week on The Commentary Booth Jamie is joined by Corrina Mabey to bridge the multiverse as we welcome Marvel's newest show, Echo, into the fold. While Echo simultaneously brings the Marvel Netflix slate into the fold of MCU canon.

Following on from the events of Hawkeye in New York City, Wilson Fisk's organisation is pursuing Maya Lopez, leading her to return to her hometown in Oklahoma, where she must come to terms with her past, reconnect with her Native American roots, and embrace her family and community.

Phenomenal performances, beautiful representation of Native American culture & disability, and finally thrilling wrestling-influenced action sequences drive Echo forward. However, the show is ultimately let down by a thin story & a multitude of pacing issues.
