Join hosts Jamie Apps & Corrina Mabey as they draft the movies they believe will dominate the box office & critics' hearts in the latter half of 2024. In this exciting episode, we tally up the scores from the year's first half & strategise for the upcoming months. With films released between January 1 and June 30 already in play, it's time to see who picked the real winners & who might need a bit more luck this time around.
We'll break down our picks, share our thoughts on the most anticipated releases, & speculate on potential sleeper hits. Whether you're a cinephile or just love a good competition, this episode is packed with fun, insights, & a touch of friendly rivalry.

THE RULES
Each competitor will be drafting 6 main roster films with 2 bench players. The bench players will only substitute into your scoring lineup if a main roster film fails to release in the allocated 6-month window.
Scoring will be based on the Metacritic Metascore
For every point above 60, a will score 1 point
For every point below 60, a film will lose 1 point
If a film fails to release that film will score a 0
Films that perform exceptionally well or exceptionally poorly will be awarded bonus points
For every point above 80, a film will receive 2 points
For every point below 40, a film will lose 2 points
So the maximum scores a film could receive are: -100 or +80.
