This week on The Commentary Booth Jamie is joined by Corrina Mabey to dig into the archives & refresh our memories about Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory as we prepare for the upcoming release of Wonka.
Released in 1971 & starring Gene Wilder as the titular candyman, Willy Wonka, this musical fantasy film is based on the 1964 novel Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Roald Dahl. The story follows a poor child named Charlie Bucket who, upon finding a Golden Ticket in a chocolate bar, wins the chance to visit Willy Wonka's chocolate factory along with four other children from around the world.
