Kevin Silvester - Be The One (ft. JVCQUI)

Two Melbourne-based artists have come together to create one of the best electro-pop releases of the year, & it's only March. Be The One by producer Kevin Silvester features the ethereal vocals of singer JVCQUI as it conveys a tale of infidelity in a mesmerising way.

The track starts with a soft pop tone before the electronic-dance elements slowly creep in underneath. When the dance beat & baseline fully kicks in it becomes impossible not to bop away to Be The One.

Given that the subject matter of Be The One focuses on infidelity & toxic relationships an uplifting dance track seems slightly jarring. However, upon listening to the way Kevin & JVCQUI have done an excellent job of making these two disparate elements blend cohesively.

As the fourth single from Kevin's upcoming debut album Sleepwalker, this single has us incredibly excited to hear more.

In closing, Be The One is sure to be a hit both in the clubs & on the radio in 2023!
