Legion
Now that I have so much time on my hands I’ve decided to do another movie review, this time around I watched Legion. This film is an apocalyptic thriller/action movie set in a remote service station in the dessert between L.A. and Vegas. This film is basically your typical zombie movie only this time the hordes of brain-dead cannon fodder are humans possessed by angels who have been sent by god to bring about the apocalypse, simply because he has had enough of our shit.
The characters in this film are what you would expect in any zombie movie. There is the person who has lost faith, someone who is more heroic than expected (possibly with the worst name of any movie character, Jeep), someone with a mission they don’t want, the unlucky family who is there by total accident and the criminal who isn’t really that bad. Now whilst all this may seem very cliché the film is actually an ok watch even though you can predict what is going to happen right from the start.
The best parts of this film are the creepy old lady who goes on a major rampage and of course there had to be a creepy little kid. The most annoying parts have to be the ridiculous things these people do, including all of their long-winded speeches, but most of all there is no way a newborn, no matter how special, is surviving what this one goes through towards the end of the film.
This film is cheesy, has lacklustre characters and is way to over the top to ever be consider a classic movie but if your looking to just kill some time this one is ok. I give this movie 1.5 out 5.
