Ben Frost – AURORA

Dark, industrial techno is the easiest way to describe Ben Frost’s latest offering.

It is easy to envision this album being the soundtrack to a sci-fi action movie as it slowly builds the tension and drama throughout.

Highlight tracks on the album include Nolan and Secant which both blend industrial synth lines with tribal percussion and electronic chords in a very interesting way.

The atmosphere builds before reaching the pinnacle with a dramatic conclusion in the higher tempo A Single Point Of Blinding Light – the most dance, uplifting track on the album.
