Hailing from the home of techno it comes as no surprise that Berlin's Boys Noize is at the top of the game when it comes to this specific genre. A position which is further cemented with his fifth album release, scheduled for later this week (September 24).

Titled +/- but pronounced Polarity this latest offering sees electronic music genre boundaries being overlapped, infused & blended together in a way which only Boys Noize could achieve with such accuracy.

The album opens with classic techno rhythms which gradually build throughout before culminating in pumping electronica with pronounced techno undertones. Perhaps the hardest hitting track on the album is UI featuring Corbin.

In the end +/- is an album which caters, quite intentionally, to the established fanbase of Boys Noize. As such it may be find it difficult to capture the attention of new listens. Despite this once we are able to return to clubs you can rest assured that many a DJ will be in Porto rating elements of this album into their sets.
