Lucy Burke - Please Stay

Sydney based singer-songwriter Lucy Burke's latest track, Please Stay, sees her taking her music in a much more melancholic but still beautiful direction.

Drawing inspiration form the likes of Lana Del Rey, Norah Jones & Eva Cassidy Please Stay is an acoustic folk-soul ballad. With this new single Lucy explores the deeply emotional impact of persevering with a frail relationship -  be that with a family member, romantic partner or a friend. 

Lucy's vocal performance is soft but confident and strong. Combined with the light guitar and piano this makes for a track which is uncomplicated but still enthralling.

Please Stay is a dramatic, heartfelt, emotive and tear inducing ballad - particularly when paired up with the music video depicting puppies being separated at a puppy farm. So be prepared to cry if you are in any form of emotional state before listening/watching this one.
