Ona Mota - Dance With U

The latest single from Sydney group Ona Mota certainly leans into the avante-garde nature of music but you will still find yourself wanting to dance & sing along.

Dance With U immediately opens with an unconventional sound that is to the use of a Suiko - an obscure synthesizer traditionally used to play Japanese classical music. The use of this particular instrument gives the song a bright beginning which gave me an 80s/Stranger Things vibe before the pop, disco elements kicked into full gear.

As the single progresses the pop, disco elements come to fore to create a tracks which is bright, fun, enjoyable & slightly wacky. Frontman Sep Pourbozorgi’s Vocals are enthralling throughout & just urge you to join in as you sing & dance around the room.
