Pario Magazine (May-June 2022)

Welcome back to another edition of Pario Magazine. This time around we're so excited to bring you our first ever themed issue.

Pario this month is focusing on the Australian independent wrestling scene, with particular attention given to the hard working unsung heroes behind the scenes of the art form.

We all know the larger than life performers who step foot inside the ring on wrestling shows, but behind the scenes there are so many more people who help make these shows happen. In this issue we highlight a ring announcer, a referee, a promoter & creative mind, a wrestling gear/costume maker, a commentator & last but certainly not least a videographer. Without all of these people this wonderful art form wouldn't exist, & certainly wouldn't have reached the level it has here in Australia recently.

As many long-time readers of Pario know I am a huge wrestling fan, so this was an incredibly fun & exciting issue to pull together for you. The Australian wrestling community has been so supportive of me & Pario, so I'm thrilled to be able to give back in my own little way.

I hope this serves as a great introduction to the Australian wrestling scene for new fans.
